DEVELOP HEALTHY HABITS

A healthy, mature disciple is someone who balances the 5 biblical purposes outlined in the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
Matthew 28:19-20
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations (Evangelism), baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Community), and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you (Discipleship).”

Matthew 22:37,39
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (Worship).”
“Love your neighbor as yourself (Service).”
We also see these biblical purposes modeled in the early church in Acts 2.
Acts 2:42

Acts 2:46
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts. (Community)

Acts 2:43
Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs. (Worship)

Acts 2:45
They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. (Service)

Acts 2:47
And the Lord added to their numbers daily those who were being saved. (Evangelism)
